The “Ruby” series, written by Mitra Strub Panahpour, are children’s books for early readers. After her first book “Ruby and the horrible Hair day” Mitra reached out to me and asked me if I could illustrate her upcoming book. Together we decided to adapt the style of the first book with some alterations.

Story
All of a sudden Ruby's life changed completely. She feels everything is caused by something called the COVID. What is this COVID everyone is talking about? She was told you could catch it! Was it like catching a butterfly, a fish or a cold? A short story to explain COVID to the younger children and a happy ending to give them hope and optimism.
