Murals for Tartufo Barolo Popup Restaurant at Chambre Separée, 2020
An old hotel in Zurich, turned into a popup restaurant for two months with five different restaurants hosting on each floor. Tartufo e Barolo called me and asked me to create a unique space for the guests. As the hotel was to be renovated, some elements needed to stay. In the old hotel rooms, there were still lamp shades, bed frames and mirrors screwed on the walls, that needed to stay. So I created 5 Trompe l’Oeil rooms to recreate the hotel rooms that were still present in some way. The guests loved it and were inspired to draw on the walls as well.
